About Dacia Reynosa

Dacia was born in Los Angeles at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital. She graduated from Montclair High School in 2003. Dacia enjoys travelling and is very much a thrill seeker. She has traveled to Rome, Paris, Italy, and several parts of Mexico including Cabo, Cancun, and Puerto Vallarta. Her favorite activities are water sports. She is an aspiring pilot and has flown a CESSNA 172 twice. She enjoys DIY Projects, and is proud to say she is pretty good at fixing or building things. Some of the activities she does in her spare time are paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, diving, and deep sea fishing. Above all, her favorite thing to do is make memories with her family by taking trips to the river.

Dacia understands the importance of making time to establish memorable moments. Her first job was in the Funeral Industry working for Service Corporation International at the age of 16. Her dreams of becoming a Culinary Chef motivated her to attend the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu, a Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts School, in 2005. Dacia continued to serve families in the Funeral Industry while attending Le Cordon Bleu. Her passions for becoming a Chef were so strong that she even moved to New Orleans to learn more about Cajun inspired entrees. During her time in New Orleans she experienced the tragedy of surviving Hurricane Katrina. Upon graduation from Le Cordon Bleu, she couldn’t imagine herself doing anything else but serving families that were going thru a tragedy of their own. She was privileged to have phenomenal mentors who took her under their wings and helped her attain the skills needed to guide a family at a time of need. She is reminded every day of the importance of making every service a memorable one. Although Dacia moved from city to city she continued to work in the Funeral Industry until making San Diego her home in 2007 where she continues to serve the community. Her charismatic, positive, and welcoming personality makes every family she serves feel as if she were their own family. Dacia takes pride in making sure everything is perfect during a very difficult day for the families she serves. She frequently is heard saying, “We only have one chance to get this right for this family.”
